The room featured a very comfortable bed. I found two separate sinks and a rainfall shower in the bathroom. The spa area was perfect. Staff members were helpful and very kind.
The air conditioning in my room was not as effective as i expected. A slight inconvenience, but manageable.

The breakfast was excellent. There was a wide variety of options available, and catered to all tastes. I especially enjoyed the fresh fruit selection and the pastries which were delectable and delicious.

uneven stay, some hits, some misses

comfortable bedrough towelsmissing amenities
the room was large with a sofa bed, a nice feature. it almost made up for the rest.
i found the amenities lacking. there was only shower gel in the bathroom. the towels felt rough like they belong in a budget motel, a real downgrade from what i expect.

the room offered ample space and was kept clean. i found the swimming pool quite nice. a fridge in the room was convenient for storing drinks and snacks. the hotel's central location facilitated easy access to nearby attractions.
i noticed the air conditioning was a bit noisy.

mixed feelings about this hotel

smelly corridorshot air
I encountered several issues . the air conditioning in my room only blew hot air. It became quite uncomfortable. the corridors had an unpleasant smell, off-putting. furthermore, there was no mini-bar available in the room. I found this inconvenient.

Really good Stay, A Real Gem!

I loved the hotel's history and the charming vibe along the boulevard. The recently opened Scirocco restaurant is a delight with a fantastic buffet breakfast. Lunch and dinner entrees are wonderful. I have to mention Harald Seewald (the general manager). He has built an very nice team!). The hotel is nice.
The provided amenities are quite basic. A single bottle in the shower serves as both body wash and shampoo, which feels a bit underwhelming.

The staff responded quickly when I needed assistance. They were always ready to help with directions or any other requests. They ensured a seamless experience, also providing quick check-in and check-out. The level of service made everything easy.

Scirocco offers a diverse menu with both local and international dishes. I tried the local dishes. The buffet breakfast offers many options, including pastries, fruits, and hot dishes, and it tasted delicious (especially the pancakes!). The restaurant's ambiance is elegant and inviting.

The King Suite featured a separate living area, and it had ample space for relaxation or work. Block-out curtains ensured a dark and quiet environment for sleeping, and I really valued that. The room was well-kept with modern decor.

The hotel has a large pool in the basement. I had a good swim. There is also a sauna. It helps relax after a long day (I tried both!). The location is excellent with great public transport links.
